    Extra wildflowers give our friendly neighborhood pollinators a fighting chance! Kind of like bath bombs, making flower bombs is a simple process of mixing together a few ingredients. Then, you throw them outside wherever you like—in your backyard or an open field. The ball contains everything the seeds need to grow right where they land. Watch the Teen Librarian show you how to put it all together on Tuesday, August 11 at 3 pm on the Library’s Facebook Page. This program is for ages 12 -17.

    Create a zine about a social issue of interest. Translation: YOU choose what topic YOU care about. Think of a change you want to see in the world or a problem you want to be solved. Zines are DIY with a focus on creative expression. The scrappier the better. Make one with paper, markers and a photocopier. This is a great way to develop your voice & take a stand in the world.
