Victoria residents will have an opportunity to let City officials know about changes they’d like to see in three of Victoria’s parks by responding to a series of brief surveys.

The surveys are part of the development process for the forthcoming Parks & Recreation master plan, which will address the City’s entire Parks system as well as its recreational programming. The master plan will include conceptual renderings for Riverside Park, Ethel Lee Tracy Park and Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

Residents can respond to the specialized surveys about each of the planned conceptual renderings, as well as a broader survey relating to the Parks & Recreation master plan as a whole, at www.victoriatx.gov/masterplans.

Parks & Recreation will host an open house in early March to discuss residents’ responses to the surveys and provide an additional opportunity for public input. The survey results and comments, along with responses from Parks & Recreation, will be included in the final master plan, which is expected to be adopted in fall 2021.
