Create Young Readers: Early Literacy

| Children from birth to age five will have programs and services designed to ensure that they will enter school ready to learn to read, write, and listen. |

Goal: Children 5 and under will be exposed to early literacy skills which will prepare them to become successful readers, writers and listeners.
Objectives for 2016
- More young children will attend storytime.
- More young children will participate in the Summer Reading program.
- New partnerships will be developed with organizations that work with young children.
- Parents / caregivers will say that the library's services for preschoolers are very good or excellent.
